DV Mark DV Powered Cab 112/60

I use this with a Line 6 Pod Go, letting the modeler simulate amps and effects, but not cabinets. This setup sounds great to my ears.

The lack of options on this cab is actually a plus-point for me: there's just the one knob going from "jazz" to "blues" (I think on some of these the same knob is labeled "flat" to "guitar"). All the positions sound good to me, though I set it mostly toward the "blues" side; I think the idea is that "jazz" is a flatter frequency response, whereas "blues" is more of this cabinet's own character. Nice and quiet, even at high volume (i.e., very minimal hiss).

It's fairly light and portable. Gets loud enough to keep up to acoustic drums without trouble, and can obviously be mic'd if you need more volume.

I would rather the corners and handle weren't leather.

Overall, a great cabinet and I'm happy I've got one.

Ich habe die Box an einem Universal Audio FX Ruby angeschlossen.
Habe die Speakersimulation am FX ausgeschalltet da die Powered Cab ja keine FRFR Box ist. Dann den Response Regler der Box auf Flat.
Mit keiner anderen FRFR Box bin ich so schnell zu einem so guten Ergebnis
gekommen. Da vermisse ich die Auswahl der Lautsprechen in der Speakersimulation des FX auch nicht. Im Raum klingt es, wie der Combo klingen soll, und den kann man auch wieder wunderbar mit Mic abnehmen.
Und das alles mit nur 8 kg !

J'ai acheté cet ampli pour pouvoir facilement le transporter pour des concerts dans de petites salles (café-concert). Bon j'écris cette review avant d'avoir pu le jouer en conditions live.

Les 60W permettent de dépasser les 100db facilement, et branché après un DSM Simplifier le son est vraiment agréable. Branché après un Valeton GP-200 là c'est bluffant, le meilleur son que j'ai obtenu avec le multi-effet / amp-sim / cab-sim. C'est vraiment génial pour cela.

Maintenant, dans la vidéo de démo on nous montre que le potard (flat/guitar) permet de se brancher en direct, ou bien de brancher un pedal board directement sur l'ampli de puissance du DV Mark. Dans mes essais je n'ai pas réussi à retrouver un son de guitare satisfaisant avec cette approche, c'est pourquoi j'ai mis seulement 4 étoiles sur le Son.

Si vous utilisez un simulateur amp/cab/mic etc, même bon marché comme le Valeton GP-200, vous pourrez retrouver la sensation d'un véritable ampli guitare avec le DV Mark powered cab, je recommande!
